Ways to prevent yourself from becoming old…

Monday, May 12th, 2008

Studies shown that people now tend to grow faster and becoming older very soon. I am not talking about the aging old, I am talking about looking older than supposed to be. Have you ever travel by plane and the staff lets you to the cabin first because you looked older than others? Have you taken the bus where someone give you his seat just because they think you look older and deserve the seat?

Why this happened? This is the oxidation process that happened in our body that damaged our cells and lack of time for our cells to rejuvenate. These maybe caused by pollution in our environment, the improper diet, lack of exercise to regenerate the cell and stress of the life.

Now you got the point. The easiers ways to look and feel younger is to control you emotion. Everyday focus on good things that happened in your life instead of the bad one.

Besides, having diets on nutritous foods. The fresh vegetables and fruits may help in providing the simplest vitamin and nutrients to the cells.

Do aerobic exercise routinely. I know you might be lazy after a long day work or feel like do not want to do anything during weekend. At least find some times to exercise and make it as a habit.

The important of Knowledge for Health

Tuesday, March 18th, 2008

Who does not want to be healthy? Who does not want to be able to take the challenge in becoming healthy in either physical, emotional and spiritual? Who does not want to live in a comfort condition with unlimited sources of energy?

The question is, how can we have this?

For me, the most important part is our knowledge. We cannot keep healthy if we do not know how to. We cannot keep healthy if we do not know the ways to do it. That’s why knowledge is important. What knowledge do we need? We need the knowledge of maintaining health. You can’t expect someone to keep low calories diet if they don’t even have the idea what’s calories mean. You can’t expect hypertension and diabetes patient to live healthy if they do not know how to eat and how to exercise.

This is why if you want to live healthy, you need to study health.

Thursday, October 25th, 2007

What is hemorrhoid? Hemorrhoid is defined as a varicose dilatation of a vein of the superior or inferior hemorrhoidal plexus by Dorland Medical Dictionary. Not everyone who has hemorrhoids will have symptoms. Symptoms of internal hemorrhoids usually include bright-red blood covering the stool, on the toilet paper, or in the toilet bowl. External hemorrhoid symptoms may include painful swelling or a hard lump around the anus that results when a blood clot forms.

In most cases, hemorrhoid treatment is focused on:

1. Relieving hemorroid symptoms

2. Relieving pressure by increasing fiber and fluids

3. Modifying bowel habits.

In rare cases, when this conservative treatment is not successful, a hemorrhoid surgery or prosedure may be recommended.

In the treatment of hemorrhoid symptom of itching and pain, a cold pack may applied to the affected area when hemorrhoid symptoms first appear. Tub baths three or four times a day in plain, hot water for about 20 to 30 minutes. Creams or suppositories can be used to relieve itching and pain. Some of these medicines also have an anesthetic that can provide some pain relief.
